The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition

The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition

The competition is open to all 11-18 year olds living in the UK and in full time education and aims to recognise and reward achievements in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The competition is open for entries from January to October online or through regional heats at Big Bang Fairs around the country. The best projects from across the UK will be invited to the National Finals at the Big Bang UK.

We are inviting students to present STEM projects at The Big Bang Fair South West in June 2017 at University of Exeter for The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition. Projects could be something completed in class time, as part of a STEM club or something created at home.  Student projects will be judged by industry experts in the region’s biggest gathering of youth science, technology, engineering and maths.  Success on the day is recognised at a glamorous awards ceremony under lights, music and explosions!
